Briana Lee is an Australian singer-songwriter from Shepparton, Victoria, whose genre-crossing style refuses to be confined to one box. Drawing from the timeless heart of country music, she blends it seamlessly with pop accessibility, folk introspection, Americana depth, and contemporary storytelling—creating songs that feel both familiar and fresh.

Growing up in the vibrant Goulburn Valley, Briana discovered her passion early, writing and performing from age 12. Her authentic, emotionally layered music resonates across audiences and genres.

A pivotal moment came in 2007 when she won the Telstra Road to Tamworth Songwriters Award for "Make the Most", her debut single. This opened doors to songwriting in Nashville with Universal Publishing and launched her recording career. She has shared stages with Australia’s biggest roots and country names, including Troy Cassar-Daley, Emerson Drive, Catherine Britt, Kaylee Bell, Beccy Cole, John Williamson, Travis Collins, Jim Lauderdale, The McClymonts, Daryl Braithwaite, and Ross Wilson.

Briana’s accolades include Trans-Tasman Entertainer of the Year in 2006, grand finalist in the Toyota Star Maker 2009, and performing the national anthem at the Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix at Phillip Island. She has made two trips to Nashville to write and perform, soaking up its diverse influences.

In 2013, she released her debut album, recorded in Nashville—marking her as a versatile artist who bridges traditions with innovation.

After a hiatus in 2020 to welcome her second daughter and focus on family, Briana is now re-emerging with renewed purpose. Balancing motherhood with her lifelong passion, she’s excited to share new music that reflects her growth and refuses to be pigeonholed—blending country warmth with pop hooks, folk honesty, and Americana spirit.

Proudly from Shepparton, Briana Lee is an artist who tells stories that transcend genres. Stay tuned—she’s evolving, and the best is yet to come.
